Job Responsibilities
As a mentor at KomTek, you will work to inspire children and young people in technology and science based on the STEM strategy.
An important part of the position is to coordinate and develop work experience programs in Örnsköldsvik. You will work to develop approaches, build networks, create good work experience opportunities, and strengthen collaboration between schools, businesses, and other community actors.
The role includes, among other things:
Coordinate and develop the municipality's work experience activities through collaboration with schools, businesses, and other community actors.
Plan and conduct course activities, class visits, and workshops in technology and science.
Contribute to school development by inspiring educators and teachers in STEM fields.
There is an employee at KomTek who already has a work experience coordination assignment that you can collaborate with.
Qualifications
Knowledge of technology and/or science that the employer deems relevant.
Initiative and genuine commitment to children and young people.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
Meritorious
Upper secondary education or other pedagogical education in technology or science.
Experience in work experience, internships, coordination, or collaboration between school and working life.
Experience working with the STEM strategy.
A driver's license, category B, is required for the position.
This is a fixed-term employment that runs until 2027-06-30. Extension may be possible.
