About the job As an enforcement officer, you primarily work with deciding on appropriate measures to regulate debts. To prevent people from falling into severe debt, contact with customers, employers, and other authorities becomes an important part of your work. Your role is to be the neutral party that helps both those who haven't been paid and those who need to pay. You investigate assets, make decisions about appropriate enforcement measures of varying scope and complexity. This involves analyzing and assessing different types of documentation. You request supplementary information via phone, email, and letter in contact with various parties. Based on laws and regulations, you assess the documentation and make decisions. The cases you handle require legal certainty, speed, and efficiency while maintaining quality. You will undergo an internal six-month training program where practice alternates with theory, and you will also have a mentor who supports you initially. The training includes law, customer service, and communication techniques, among other things. You will be part of a section that collectively is responsible for results, planning, and work distribution. Everyone who works at Kronofogden contributes to efforts against crime. Your work tasks include identifying and preventing criminal attempts and reporting suspected crimes to other authorities. As an enforcement officer, you might, for example, alert other authorities if a person is receiving benefits on incorrect grounds. This could result in you helping to stop incorrect welfare payments. Your qualifications: high school diploma 1 year of work experience in administrative or case handling work within the past three years good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish It is desirable that you have current work experience from Kronofogden. It is also desirable if you have current and relevant work experience in case handling, investigation, or decision-making that affects individuals and businesses. Good to know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as an enforcement officer. Kronofogden offers the opportunity to work remotely by agreement with the employer. Working in the state means you follow the state's core values. Special requirements are also placed on judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during the interview about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked to references. We also obtain information about debts registered with Kronofogden, bankruptcy, and business bans. The information obtained will be considered in assessing your suitability for the position. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with record check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made.
