About the Job We are now seeking a case handler for the Aviation Certificates Section who enjoys working with multiple contact points and always strives for excellent service! The section is responsible for issuing, renewing, and extending certificates, medical certificates, and licenses; overseeing aviation medical examiners and aviation medical centers; and developing regulations in the aviation medical field. The section handles certificate matters for pilots, instructors, examiners, air traffic controllers/AFIS, and cabin crew. The section is divided into a medical team and a certificate team. As a team member in the section and part of the certificate team, you'll join a positive work environment where we collaborate and support each other in our tasks. You will be part of a team consisting of several colleagues with similar responsibilities. The work involves contact points both external and internal, where you will help us improve our ability to achieve high quality and provide excellent service and information to permit holders, private individuals, and other authorities. You Must Have Completed university or college education in, for example, social sciences, behavioral sciences, or law, or another field that the employer considers relevant for the position, or equivalent experience that Transportstyrelsen considers relevant Strong ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English Strong ability to work in parallel with different IT environments Current experience from a public administration or authority handling cases. It is Advantageous if You Also Have Experience as a case handler for matters in the aviation field or experience working in aviation operations that Transportstyrelsen considers relevant for the position Aviation certificates or have started training for aviation certificates or other education in the aviation field.
