Norrorts Prosecution Chamber is seeking a case handler
Your responsibilities
The position is located at Norrorts Prosecution Chamber. As a case handler, you will experience an eventful day with varied tasks.
You work independently but also as part of a team to ensure administrative work runs smoothly. Service is a large part of your daily work, both internally and externally.
Your responsibilities include:
performing basic IT support locally, such as replacement of computers, mobile phones, and monitors, assisting with support on software issues related to the agency's systems and applications, troubleshooting and updates
serving as the chamber's contact person toward the agency's central IT support, updating IT inventory, issuing login cards, ordering access authorizations, etc.
conducting introductions and training in the chamber's IT tools and telephone systems
providing prosecutors with administrative support, such as work in the criminal case diary, managing archiving, and performing general office tasks
verifying, assessing, and registering incoming cases
serving as the contact person in many contexts and thereby providing good service to both the public and other agencies – primarily via phone and email
performing work tasks assigned by the administrative manager, such as certain preparation work.
The day is event-driven and urgent matters can quickly arrive, requiring you to make quick decisions and assess what is urgent or not.
Your qualities and qualifications
We are looking for someone who
has completed upper secondary school or other education that the employer deems equivalent
has current proficiency equivalent to several years of well-documented work with administrative tasks that the Prosecution Authority deems relevant
has experience working in IT environments and with digital tools in administration, telephony, meetings, etc.
has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

experience with basic IT support regarding digital meeting technology, Microsoft client products, Adobe, mobile telephony, networks, printers, computers, VPN connections.
About the employment
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period.
Start date is by agreement.
Tests may occur in the recruitment process.
Before an employment offer, the Prosecution Authority may conduct background checks in the suspicion register and the criminal record register. The background check is conducted on the final candidate.
