Together with colleagues, you will develop and implement measures that strengthen Swedish innovation capacity and industry's transformation. The work focuses particularly on production, production systems, automation, and digitalization in manufacturing industry, as well as technologies and solutions that contribute to industry's transition toward net-zero emissions. You will follow national and international developments in technology, policy, and industry, and translate this knowledge into Vinnova's offerings and other initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing offerings in the form of calls that support research and innovation projects - Managing, administering, and monitoring projects that Vinnova finances - Conducting dialogue with project managers and other external actors - Contributing to planning, development, and monitoring of Vinnova's initiatives - Organizing and participating in meetings, seminars, and workshops - Monitoring developments in technology and policy as well as industrial needs and trends Other tasks may be added depending on your expertise, interests, and organizational needs. Qualifications We are seeking someone with: - Relevant academic education, for example a master's degree in engineering with a focus on production, automation, net-zero technology, or another area the employer considers relevant - Several years of relevant professional experience in production, production systems, automation, industrial digitalization, net-zero technology, or other technical fields relevant to industry's transformation - Experience independently leading goal- and results-oriented work or projects - Experience with collaboration between, for example, companies, universities, and research institutes - Good understanding of industrial challenges, actors, and trends - Ability to see the bigger picture in the interplay between processes, technology, digitalization, and people - Very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Meritorious Qualifications It is advantageous if you have: - A research degree or experience in research and innovation - Experience from public sector operations, a research funder, or another organization in the innovation system - Knowledge of the Swedish and/or European research and innovation system - A relevant network within the industrial sector Personal Qualities When we hire, we place great importance on personal qualities and motivation.
