Midgårdsskolan is an upper secondary school offering three university preparatory programs, one vocational program, an introduction program, and adapted upper secondary school. We are now seeking a substitute upper secondary teacher for a resource assignment in natural sciences and mathematics!
Your responsibilities
The assignment involves providing pedagogical support at both group and individual levels in teaching natural sciences and mathematics. The assignment includes supporting and guiding students inside and outside the classroom, and when needed, assisting the regular teacher in instruction.
About you
We are looking for someone who is solution-focused, responsive, engaged, and takes initiative with the student always in focus. You have a holistic view of learning and are interested in working in close collaboration with teaching staff and the EHT team. You need to be knowledgeable, flexible, and have pedagogical insight into how different students learn in different ways. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
Requirements
Certified upper secondary teacher with qualifications in natural sciences and mathematics
Experience teaching at upper secondary level
Unobstructed Swedish language skills in speech and writing, and good English skills
Valid criminal background check from the police register
