Marinbasen is seeking a staff assistant for the command staff. This position is directed toward you who have documented expertise in photography and/or video production and who want to work broadly in communications within an operational, military environment. You will be part of the unit's communications function and work closely with daily operations, both at sea and on land. About the Role You plan, produce, and publish content from the unit's operations. The work includes both photography and video as well as text production, publishing, and support in communications initiatives. You work closely with operations, both in the archipelago and on land, and support the communications officer with both emerging and planned tasks. Main Responsibilities Plan and conduct photo and video production in varying environments Edit and deliver material for publishing across multiple channels Produce content for social channels, web, and internal channels Contribute to planning and implementation of communications, such as text production and planning Support visits, exercises, events, and other operations Ongoing administrative tasks related to communications work REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Swedish citizenship Completed military service/GU within the past 10 years Approved military service certificate, minimum JA-2-2 Completed and approved upper secondary education Experience in photo and/or video production Experience publishing in digital channels Very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Class B driver's license Applications must include work samples. Personal Qualities You are self-driven, organized, and have strong ability to prioritize in sometimes high-tempo situations. You are comfortable in military and social settings and maintain a professional approach when meeting different audiences. You work well with others but can also solve tasks independently. Great weight will be given to personal suitability. Employment as GSS/K is made under the support of law (2012:3329) on certain Swedish Armed Forces employments. This means a probationary employment of 6 months for those not already employed by the Swedish Armed Forces, and thereafter time-limited employment up to 6 years with the possibility of extension for 6 years.
