For 25 years, Gryning has provided residential and open care for children, youth and families, emergency and family homes, addiction care, supported housing, initiatives against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS residential care. We offer counseling and training as well as help with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
Gryning's HVB Sunnerö opened in Alingsås in November 2022. The operations serve individually placed children aged 8 to 11 years who need care, treatment, and supplementary assessments. We operate 24 hours a day.

WORK DUTIES
What does the position entail?
Depending on your educational background and prior experience, different roles may be relevant for you. What they all have in common is that in your work you serve as a support for our children in their daily routines, you create security and stability, and you work in close collaboration with your colleagues. Our work is conducted on behalf of social services and in close cooperation with the network surrounding our clients. Since we operate 24 hours a day, you will work on a schedule with irregular hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
Who are you?
We are seeking someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or equivalent education, focused on social work, sociopedagogy, or behavioral science. If you also have experience working with this target group, we consider that a merit.
You are a trustworthy and stable role model with the ability to build confidential and sustainable relationships. In your work, you contribute to a clear structure that helps meet and address children's needs and challenges, while creating a sense of security and predictability in their daily lives.
The work can at times be intensive, which requires you to be flexible and have the ability to remain calm and act securely and professionally even in pressured situations. Since the work involves travel, a driver's license is required.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months.
