For 25 years, Gryning has offered residential care and outpatient services for children, youth and families, emergency and family homes, addiction treatment, supported housing, initiatives against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS housing. We offer counseling and training as well as assistance with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
Lilla Torp in Göteborg is an acute care unit. We receive youth ages 12-21 who are in acute need of placement where the young person can no longer remain in their current situation for some reason. Reasons for placement may include, for example, behavioral problems, lack of care, self-harm, or risk of harming others.

JOB DUTIES
Depending on your educational background and prior experience, different roles may be appropriate for us. What is common to all of them is that in your work you serve as a support for our children in their daily routines, you create security and stability, and you work in close collaboration with your colleagues. Our operations are carried out on behalf of social services and in close cooperation with the network surrounding our clients. We have 24-hour operations, which means you will work irregular hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with at least two years of post-secondary education, or equivalent training, with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. We would like to see that you have prior experience working with this target group. You are a role model and have the ability to create credible and stable relationships. You are part of the structure that clarifies and supports children's challenges and have the ability to create security and predictability. You are flexible and can work days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Since the work involves travel, a category B driver's license is required.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months.
