For 25 years, Gryning has offered residential and community care for children, youth and families, on-call and family homes, substance abuse treatment, supported housing, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS housing. We offer counseling and training as well as help with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
Bergiusgården in Ljungskile receives boys and girls ages 16–21 with substance abuse issues related to alcohol and drugs, but can also involve combinations with criminality and/or mental health problems. We offer 24-hour care and qualified treatment. Youth are placed according to SOL or LVU. Our primary mission is to work together with the young person and their network to enable change work in a safe and stable environment, and we strive to contribute to changed, improved, and lasting living conditions for the young person.
We are now seeking a treatment pedagogue for hourly employment.

JOB DUTIES
Depending on your educational background and previous experience, different roles may be relevant for you. Common to all is that in your work you function as support for our youth in their daily routines, you create security and stability, and work in close collaboration with your colleagues. Our operations run around the clock, which means you will work irregular hours including evenings and weekends.
Regardless of role, you contribute to creating security, calm, and safety for the youth.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or equivalent education, with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. If you have experience working at residential care homes or other knowledge through working with youth, that is a merit. We expect you to be interested in youth. We are looking for someone who is secure and stable and who has the ability to create calm and security. You are responsible, have personal maturity and good self-awareness. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. As the work may involve travel, a Class B driver's license is required.
