For 25 years, Gryning has provided residential care and outpatient services for children, youth and families, emergency and foster care, addiction treatment, supported housing, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS housing. We offer counseling and training as well as assistance with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
Lilla Torp in Göteborg is an acute care unit. We receive youth ages 12-21 who are in acute need of placement where the young person can no longer remain in their current situation for any reason. Reasons for placement may include, for example, problematic behavior, lack of care, self-harm, or risk of harming others.
We are now seeking a treatment pedagogue for a permanent full-time position. You will work on a rotating schedule with irregular hours including days, evenings, and weekends. A trial employment period may be applicable.

JOB DUTIES
You will function as a support for our clients in their daily routines, relationships, and development. You will lead leisure activities in both group and individual settings.
You create safety, security, and stability and work in close collaboration with your colleagues.
You conduct behavioral observations and documentation. We work in close collaboration with social services and networks.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with at least two years of post-secondary education, or equivalent education, with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant field of study. Experience in working life is desirable, preferably in care and social work.
You are psychologically resilient and a role model with the ability to create credible and stable relationships.
It is important that you are calm, confident, and attentive. Since collaboration is a crucial foundation for the unit's ability to create sustainable results, it is important that you recognize the value of constructive and open communication.
The work involves travel; a driver's license B is therefore a requirement.
