For 25 years, Gryning has offered HVB and open care for children, youth and families, on-call and family homes, addiction care, supported housing, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS residences. We offer counseling and training as well as help with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
At Kristinedal in Fengersfors, we work with children and families in need of treatment interventions on behalf of Social Services. Children placed at Kristinedal have various forms of psychosocial difficulties such as attachment disorders, interaction difficulties, and trauma. Various types of neuropsychiatric diagnoses are also common. The goal of our operations is to create conditions for children and families to develop according to their own circumstances.
We are now seeking a Treatment Pedagogue for a permanent, full-time position. We have 24/7 operations, which means you will work on a schedule with irregular hours including evenings and weekends. A probationary period may be applicable.

JOB DUTIES
What does the position entail?
You will function as a support for our clients in their daily routines, relationships, and development. You will lead recreational activities in group and individual settings.
You create safety, security, and stability and work closely with your colleagues.
You conduct behavioral observations and documentation. We work closely with Social Services and networks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Who are you?
We seek someone with at least two years of post-secondary education, or equivalent education, with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or other relevant subject areas. It is desirable to have work experience, preferably in care and social work.
You are psychologically resilient and a role model with the ability to create credible and stable relationships.
It is important that you are calm, secure, and attentive. Since cooperation is a crucial building block for the unit's ability to create sustainable results, it is important that you recognize the value of constructive and open communication.
Do you have an interest in outdoor activities such as fishing, skiing, and mushroom picking? This is an advantage and something we value. We have forest, land, and lake, as well as access to a creative workshop and gym – excellent opportunities to create activities based on individual needs and interests.
The work involves travel; a Class B driver's license is therefore a requirement.
