For 25 years, Gryning has offered HVB (home-based care) and open care for children, youth and families, emergency and foster care, addiction treatment, supported housing, services against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS housing. We offer counseling and training as well as help with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
At Kristinedal in Fengersfors, we work with children and families in need of treatment services on behalf of Social Services. Children placed at Kristinedal have various forms of psychosocial difficulties such as attachment disorders, interaction difficulties, and trauma. Different types of neuropsychiatric diagnoses are also common. The goal of our operations is to create conditions for children and families to develop based on their own circumstances.
We are now seeking a treatment pedagogue for a permanent full-time position. We have 24-hour operations, which means you will work on a rotating schedule with irregular working hours, including evenings and weekends. A probationary period may apply.

WORK TASKS
What does the position entail?
You will function as a support for our clients in their daily routines, relationships, and development. You will lead leisure activities in both group and individual settings.
You create safety, security, and stability and work in close collaboration with your colleagues.
You perform behavioral observations and documentation. We work in close collaboration with Social Services and networks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or equivalent training, in social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant field. It is desirable to have work experience, preferably in care and social work.
You are psychologically resilient and a role model who has the ability to create credible and stable relationships.
It is important that you are calm, confident, and attentive. Since collaboration is a crucial foundation for the unit's ability to create sustainable results, it is important that you recognize the value of constructive and open communication.
Do you have an interest in outdoor activities such as fishing, skiing, and mushroom foraging? This is an advantage and something we value. We have access to forest, land, and lake, as well as access to a creative workshop and gym – great opportunities to create activities based on individual needs and interests.
The work involves travel; a Class B driver's license is therefore required.
