Welcome to us We are an area with six units: the Reception Unit, the Children's Unit, the Children and Youth Unit, the Youth Unit, the Family Support Unit and the Foster Care Unit. Together we are approximately 130 committed employees working to make a real difference for children, young people and families. We are now looking for a group leader who wants to lead a well-functioning and thriving work group with strong community and good collaboration, to join our Investigation Team at the Youth Unit. You are responsible for the daily management of social workers and serve as close support in both decision-making and social work. The unit currently has eight social workers. You lead group meetings, case discussions, distribute cases and are available in ongoing client work. Together with your unit manager and mentor you are responsible for introducing new employees and ensuring that new social workers quickly get into the work and feel secure in the exercise of authority. You plan and coordinate work during absences and contribute to the smooth running of the unit's daily operations. You actively participate in operational and method development, implementation of new working methods and goals, and can represent the operation in various networks. The assignment also includes following up operations through statistics and contributing to operational planning. The work is carried out in close collaboration with your unit manager, other group leaders, mentors and unit managers within the area. Your competence and experience Social work degree At least five years of experience exercising authority in the field of children and youth, with a focus on investigation Experience in work management Experience with the Paraplyet system Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing We consider it meritorious if you have: Knowledge and experience of Signs of Safety Knowledge of and experience with assessment tools EARL, SAVRY, iRiSk Supervisor training Knowledge and experience of violence prevention work, particularly in work with young adults We are looking for a group leader who is clear, stable and structured in your leadership and who creates security and direction for the group. You are empathetic and responsive, with the ability to meet employees based on different needs and circumstances. A humble and relationship-building approach is important, as is the ability to build trust and create good relationships in the group. You are present and engaged and contribute to an open, secure and well-functioning work environment.
