Do you want to work in a city where ideas quickly become reality and where you see the results of your work? In Sundbyberg, there is close proximity between people, decisions, and opportunities. Here you get to have real influence while developing and growing in your role. At the Children's Unit, we continuously work to improve and develop our operations. Today we have a well-staffed and stable organization within authority functions for our children. Of particular importance to us is a systemic approach with a focus on supporting families and networks, and ensuring each child's best interests based on the child's context. We have developed our open care services and today offer our families qualified and comprehensive support. We are now seeking a group leader who wants to continue developing and developing with us. The Children's Unit is a unit within the authority department in the welfare and care sector. The unit has committed and skilled employees who work together in daily operations. The unit is divided into two groups with nine social workers in each group. Our target group is children ages 0-12 and their families/networks. We work with investigations and follow-ups of interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act with special provisions for the care of young people (LVU), and the Act on placement of children in protected housing (LBSB). Our focus is to conduct good social work. For us in the children's unit, this means creating investigation processes that are favorable for families' change work. There should be a high level of user participation in everything we do. When interventions are needed, we offer, as far as possible, support and treatment at home. Supporting the work are placement coordinators, who assist with placements, and a development manager in the child and youth area. The department also has a relationship violence coordinator who works with development and change efforts regarding violence in close relationships. As a group leader, you are responsible for leading and distributing daily work for your team and you will also have close collaboration with the other group leader and unit manager. You will also collaborate with other units, primarily the youth unit, foster care services, and the intake unit. This is to ensure that we work with legal certainty and in a similar manner throughout the department. At the Children's Unit, we want you to strengthen employees in their case worker role with an advisory, supportive, and guiding approach. Your duties as group leader also include being part of the unit's development work conducted in collaboration with the unit manager and the department's development manager. We want you to be educated as a social worker. You have several years of experience in authority functions within the child and youth field. You have good knowledge of laws and regulations in the field. We would like you to have previous experience working as a group leader. Training in systems theory is a merit. You should be interested and driven in operational work and enjoy the challenges placed on a group leader in a developing unit. You should enjoy working at a varied pace and being part of a management team. You are responsible, organized, and have good collaboration skills. You are relationship-building and have the ability to listen, coach, give feedback, and have the ability to make decisions. We place great importance on your personal qualities! We offer you a creative and proactive administration with opportunities for professional development and training.
