The Business The Swedish Agency for Persons with Disabilities is one of two units within the Swedish Agency for the Elderly and for Persons with Disabilities. The unit is led by two results unit managers who oversee the unit, four group managers who lead three teams of LSS case handlers. Additionally, the unit has two contact secretaries, two agreement coordinators, and two care level case handlers. One of our group managers is going on parental leave, and we are now seeking a temporary group manager for one of the teams. Your Tasks As a group manager at the Swedish Agency for Persons with Disabilities, you represent the agency to clients, citizens, and collaboration partners. You therefore possess broad knowledge of the Social Services Act (Sol) and LSS legislation, and can make independent assessments in cases and guide and advise case handlers working within the unit. You are flexible and can work at a high pace. Working as a group manager at the Swedish Agency for Persons with Disabilities includes tasks such as leading and distributing applications and follow-ups to case handlers, making decisions according to the care committee's delegation order, participating in collaboration forums, and being active in business development. As a group manager, you are expected to be part of the improvement work at our agency. You are expected to collaborate and cooperate with other units within the municipality and with external partners. You are also expected to work together with colleagues and the results unit manager to take responsibility for developing the business. In your role as group manager, you are the primary contact for employees and an ambassador for the Swedish Agency for Persons with Disabilities. Who Are You? You are stress-resistant, flexible in thought and action, have good collaboration skills while being independent and enterprising. You are good at structure and planning and can handle demands from your surroundings while fulfilling your assignment. You are expected to be a leader with close leadership who can create both trust and security for the team. You are skilled at prioritizing, planning, and coaching individuals. Requirements: - Social Work degree, law degree, or other university or college education that the employer deems equivalent - Category B driver's license - Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, and good documentation skills - Experience investigating and making decisions in Sol/LSS as well as writing statements to courts Meritorious: - Experience with public administration and working in a politically governed organization - Experience leading employees in a politically governed organization - Experience with various change initiatives and organizational changes - Experience working with persons with disabilities and knowledge of public administration for this target group - Experience with the Combine business management system Personal Qualities: - You are professional in your work role, you show respect for your assignment, and work according to our values - You are responsible and take responsibility for a work climate that develops the business - You have an easy time making contacts, are thorough and structured - You are innovative and enterprising - You are flexible and confident in yourself We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
