Workplace Description At the turn of the year, we launched our new unit Adults and Functional Disabilities. Here we bring together case management within social psychiatry, harmful use and addiction, LSS, intimate partner violence, and support for persons who want to leave a criminal lifestyle. The unit also includes the provision of housing support, outreach, and some open care for adults. We manage cases jointly within social psychiatry and addiction to create more comprehensive and efficient case management for the target group. We are now seeking an additional group leader who wants to be part of developing our new unit and strengthening management. We see a need to develop our smaller but extremely important areas: intimate partner violence, criminality, addiction, and open care for adults. This includes, among other things, reviewing and strengthening working methods, investigation methodology, and structured follow-up. You have great opportunities to influence how the work is shaped. With us, you will help build a new operation with working methods that align with the new Social Services Act, where users' needs are in focus. The unit is led by a unit manager and three group leaders. Today, one group leader role focuses primarily on authority functions and the other mainly on social psychiatry's service delivery activities such as housing support and outreach. We now want to strengthen with an additional group leader whose role will be directed toward intimate partner violence, criminality, addiction, and open care. Since we are a small unit, operative work may also be included when needed. As group leaders, you work closely together and support each other and cover for each other when needed, which creates both flexibility and security in the operation. The current group leaders have their primary expertise in LSS and social psychiatry. To complement this, we are now seeking a group leader with experience from intimate partner violence, criminality, addiction, and open care. Job Description We are seeking a group leader who is responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing daily work primarily within intimate partner violence, criminality, addiction, and open care. You lead both case managers and service providers. The role involves supporting the unit manager in operational leadership, ensuring quality in interventions, and being a link between employees, unit manager, users, and family members. The role includes planning, distributing, and following up on the group's daily work, supporting employees in their professional practice, and following up on schedules, staffing, and absences. The role also includes monitoring the external environment and driving development toward an evidence- and knowledge-based working approach. Goals that will be in focus for the coming years are to strengthen collaboration across all our areas, which is why we are seeking someone who is social and takes the initiative for contact. Work with the entire target group occurs based on the operation's needs. As a group leader, you get to be part of developing the operation together with the unit manager and other functions. You have a central role in communicating and anchoring decisions made, thereby contributing to clarity and participation in the organization. You mentor employees in their assignments, including regarding work methods, methodology, documentation, and follow-up and evaluation of interventions. The role also involves close dialogue with the unit manager and employees as well as with users and their family members. Collaboration is an important part of the assignment both internally and externally. The work includes being able to guide and direct Salem residents within the municipality's operations. Qualifications To be considered for the position, you meet the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in social work or other academic education that the employer deems equivalent. - Experience leading and motivating staff. - Experience with authority functions within the operation's areas. Particularly meritorious is experience with intimate partner violence, criminality, and addiction. - It is meritorious to have experience and knowledge of authority functions within all areas of the operation as well as open care. - Good knowledge of legislation and guidelines within the operation's areas. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language both in writing and speech, as documentation is required. - It is meritorious to have experience working according to IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus) and other standardized methods. - You should adapt easily to changed circumstances. You are communicative and resolve conflicts constructively. The position involves meeting people in difficult situations and requires a secure and stable personality as well as the ability for self-insight.
