The Employment, Education and Occupational Services Department has a comprehensive responsibility for integration, employment, education, and occupational issues affecting our municipality's residents. The department also oversees the School of Culture and food services, and fulfills tasks for the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. We are now seeking you to work as an HOURLY TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE at Employment & Occupational Services (AoS) with the possibility to go through an introduction before you start working for real. For people who have decisions about daily activities or occupational services, we are the workplace people go to during the day, and we are responsible for 11 different workplaces and opportunities for so-called enterprise placements within Boden Municipality. We also support individuals with other needs to take steps on their journey toward work or studies. Our operation is conducted during daytime and offers a flexible range of work tasks, activities, studies, and occupational services characterized by accessibility for all who participate. In your role as group leader, you will pedagogically plan, guide, coach, and motivate individuals in daily work tasks. You are responsible for ensuring that participants' planning is current and strives to strengthen the individual's self-determination and confidence in their own abilities. You are part of a work team together with good colleagues and with close support from the unit manager. We strive for each individual to reach 100% of their own abilities and be able to participate in society's community. Our operation offers the individual stimulation, development, meaning, and community according to their wishes. An overarching goal is also to develop the individual's opportunities toward work in the short or long term and can include both activities with a rehabilitation focus and more production-oriented tasks. We start from the individual's needs and circumstances when we plan and work to help the individual take steps in their own development and strengthen opportunities to influence their own life. We want both employees and participants in our operation to feel confidence and dare to try. A good positive work environment is important to us and something we constantly strive to maintain. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a secure, positive, and initiative-taking person who sees opportunities even in the small things. You enjoy good environments where individual development is at the center. In the role of group leader, approach of the highest importance and the desire to work in a relationship-building manner together with the individuals we work with. You will meet a broad spectrum of people with different challenges in their daily lives. The functional disabilities of those who primarily participate in our operation vary from those with neurodevelopmental disabilities (Autism, ADHD, etc.), intellectual disabilities, mental illness/disability, etc. You need the ability to quickly adjust your approach and working method as individuals' needs can differ greatly. Social documentation and some care work are included in daily work. We believe you will enjoy working TOGETHER in a work team and contributing your experience and expertise to the development of the operation. You have the ability to examine, analyze, and assess your own work and thus be able to contribute to high-quality services and determine when competencies other than your own are needed. Requirements: - Diploma or final grades from the Health and Care Program, alternatively diploma or final grades from the Children and Recreation Program with a focus on social work or equivalent. Meritorious: - Previous experience working with this target group We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 11 days – 3 months, start date: 2026-09-03 We hire hourly temporary employees on an ongoing basis, ending: 2027-01-31.
