We are now seeking a group manager for the Measurement, Photography and Environmental Durability department. Your Future Challenge The Measurement, Photography and Environmental Lab department is undergoing a development journey where we are strengthening our leadership to create even better conditions for the continued development of the business. As our current acting department manager has assumed the role of department manager, we are developing our management structure and are now recruiting three key management positions: group manager measurement/deputy, group manager photography and group manager environmental lab. In your role as group manager for the environmental lab, you will be the direct manager of our environmental durability engineers, a team of 7 employees. The group is responsible for planning, conducting and following up on environmental testing for our customers. The work is varied and includes both practical work in a laboratory environment and technical problem-solving, documentation and ongoing dialogue with customers. Since the role is new, you have a unique opportunity to influence how the group should work and develop. Together with other managers, you will help build the structure for the new organization. Work tasks may include: Lead, plan and distribute work for the environmental durability engineers. Ensure resources, competence and safety in testing. Responsible for vacation planning, recruitment, rehabilitation and employee and salary discussions. Support the planning department in master planning work. Responsible for safety rounds, introduction and training. Contribute to the development of processes, working methods and cooperation within the department. Create conditions for continuous skills development and development of the environmental lab. Work environment responsibility for environmental durability engineers. Approval of customer invoices. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: Experience from a management role with personnel and work environment responsibility. Good collaboration and communication skills. Experience from technical or industrial operations is a merit. Experience from work within the defense industry or related sector (merit). Experience of environmental durability is a merit. For the position, the following is required: Security clearance according to applicable laws and regulations is a requirement.
