Sävar School is an F–9 school with approximately 700 students. Nearby there is a swimming hall, sports hall, nature, and on the schoolyard there is, among other things, a multisports arena. We are now seeking a primary school teacher to teach Spanish for grades 7-9!

The position is a permanent employment, full-time, starting 2027-01-08.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will teach grades 7-9 Spanish, and possibly have a mentor role for a class. Your task as a primary school teacher is to plan and conduct teaching based on the curriculum, but also to do more comprehensive planning together with colleagues. You should individually and together with colleagues follow up, evaluate, and analyze teaching as well as assess and document students' knowledge development. You are responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that contributes to students' goal achievement. As a teacher, you are responsible for informing students and guardians about the student's knowledge development.
About You
You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, structure, and context for all students. You are well versed in the school's governing documents. You differentiate and vary your teaching based on students' needs. You share your knowledge and experience to contribute to collegial learning. An important part of the teaching role is building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Requirements
Teacher certification and competence in Spanish for grades 7-9
Valid extract from the criminal record register
Good knowledge of Swedish and English language in speech and writing
Meritorious
Competence in multiple languages such as German, English, and/or Swedish
Experience working with young people in middle school
