One of our teachers will be on parental leave, and we are looking for you to take on the role of mentor and subject teacher in mathematics, science, and English. You will be part of a fantastic team with other teachers, after-school staff, and support personnel. At Stapelbäddsskolan, we work as subject teachers from grade 1, and together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing instruction. Your task is to stimulate all students' development and learning, capitalize on students' curiosity and desire to learn, and create a safe and accepting environment. You document student learning and connect it to our governing documents. You regularly analyze and reflect on results and data about your students and your teaching. Mentorship is also part of the role. Qualifications You hold a teaching license to teach grades F-3, or alternatively grades 1-7. You have experience and solid knowledge of language development teaching methods, formative and collegial learning. Experience teaching in the lower grades and in mathematics is advantageous. You have strong commitment to children and their learning. You are a natural and confident leader in the classroom and treat your surroundings with respect, attentiveness, and curiosity. You have high expectations and set high and clear demands on every student. You contribute to giving each student knowledge, drive, and motivation. You work well collaboratively and communicate effectively - your students know what they can do, where they are going, and how to get there. You are solution-focused and have a positive attitude toward school development and learning from and with one another. You are well versed in the school's governing documents and have strong ability to translate the curriculum and school law into practice. You easily build good and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
