Ref: 20262058 Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a colleague at Malmö Idrottsgrundskola for a parental leave vacancy. We operate from brand new facilities in the Stadion area and are looking for you as a teacher for grades 7-9 with qualifications in Swedish and German. As a teacher at Malmö Idrottsgrundskola, you will be part of a team of teachers where you collaborate to plan and take responsibility for students' education and development, and decide on any needs for, for example, subject integration or project studies in your classes. Your focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will teach students in grade 7 Swedish and grades 7-9 German, educating and supporting students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take their own initiative, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. Therefore, you will be given, together with your colleagues, influence in the operations. Your role includes mentorship for some of our students. The mentor role entails specific responsibility for a group of students, giving you the opportunity to follow their academic development and personal growth more closely. As a mentor, you inform and keep students' guardians informed about the student's academic development through regular development meetings. Qualifications You hold a teaching license with qualifications for teaching grades 7-9 Swedish and German, or equivalent experience. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we consider that an asset. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. You also possess good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a productive study environment and good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and with good knowledge and practice, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. As a person, you have a professional approach and work for good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
