You will be substituting as an art teacher and joining a teaching team with high qualifications and extensive expertise. You will support each other to create the best conditions for every student in a safe and trustworthy environment. You will teach grades 5-9 and conduct modern and creative instruction where you find strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth. You challenge students to take their own initiative, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. Of course, you collaborate with other school staff to ensure a good learning and work environment for both students and staff, and you actively participate in the school's development work. Teaching experience is a merit. You have good insight into and knowledge of school curricula and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and, with good knowledge and practice, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you maintain a professional approach and work toward good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at school. We see that you build good relationships with students and colleagues, have high expectations, and strong confidence in students' abilities. You stay current with recent research and work systematically to develop your instruction. Based on current research and proven experience, you plan your teaching, where you can demonstrate connections between your instructional strategies and your students' results. Your teaching methods are varied and comprehensive, giving all students the opportunity to achieve good results. Working with student input is important to you, and you create a safe and supportive classroom climate. The work requires you to have good collaboration skills, initiative, a flexible approach, and a positive view of students. About the Workplace Tygelsjöskolan/Pilbäckskolan is located in the scenic Tygelsjö area, approximately 10 minutes by bus from Hyllie station. Tygelsjö is a residential area consisting of an older center with surrounding newly built areas. In the Tygelsjö principal area are Tygelsjöskolan, a K-3 school with approximately 300 students, and Pilbäckskolan, a 4-9 school with approximately 520 students. Both schools have very high teacher qualifications and our students have excellent results.
