About the School
Ängelholms Montessoriskola is a small, cozy K-6 school with an accompanying after-school program centrally located in Ängelholm with Rönne River as our nearest neighbor and forest just around the corner. The location in the center of town means we can take advantage of the many opportunities in our local environment in our activities, such as the city library, the church, Kronoskogen forest and of course the beach and sea.
Ängelholms Montessoriskola currently has approximately 80 students. We have one class in each grade level in grades 2-6. The small format is one of the advantages of our school; here we all know each other and the wonderful sense of community among our 15 colleagues facilitates collaboration.
The Municipal Council has made a decision about a changed school organization, which among other things means that Ängelholms Montessoriskola will be phased out after the current school year. The school year 2026/2027 is therefore our last school year, so take the chance now and come work here together with us!

JOB DUTIES
The middle level at Ängelholms Montessoriskola is organized with a responsible mentor in each grade level who teaches their own class in the core subjects Math, Swedish, English and Social Studies. In addition to this, there are subject teachers who teach the students in Science, Art, Music, Technology, Home Economics, Physical Education and Crafts.
In anticipation of an upcoming parental leave, we need a full-time elementary teacher and mentor for grade 6 at Ängelholms Montessoriskola. Teaching Math, Swedish, English & Social Studies in grade 6 as well as mentorship, grading and administration of national tests are part of the assignment. We want you to be ready to start here after the November break, and you can be given the opportunity to shadow the current mentor.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a qualified elementary teacher for grades 4-6. You hold teacher certification in Swedish, English, Mathematics and Social Studies for grade 6.
The position is a temporary assignment starting after the November break Fall 2026 and for the remainder of the school year, i.e. until 2027-06-22.
