Ref: 20261976 Job Responsibilities We are seeking a certified primary school teacher with credentials to teach Home Economics and Mathematics in grades 4-6. You will be part of the grade 6 teaching team and mentorship is included in the position. Part of your assignment may also be directed as support in instruction for individual students during the school day. At Monbijouskolan, we work in year-level teams where primary school teachers, recreation center teachers, school librarians and student support teams collaborate and work together for each student's learning and well-being. In your role with us, you will create and develop a stimulating pedagogical environment and together with your colleagues advance the pedagogical work. We offer you close leadership from the principal, collegial collaboration in teams, clear structure for meetings, planning and development work, as well as active support from the student support team in your daily work. Qualifications We are looking for someone who holds teacher certification with credentials to teach Home Economics and Mathematics in grades 4-6. Good experience in teaching Home Economics and Mathematics, language and knowledge-development instruction, cross-curricular approaches and familiarity with digital working methods are advantageous for this position. It is also important that you are interested in being part of developing instruction through collegial learning at the school. You can organize your work, are confident and solution-focused and contribute to creating a positive work environment together with your colleagues. Most students are enrolled in our recreation center, which is organized by year level for grades F-3 and by stage for grades 4-6. Monbijouskolan is the big little school in the heart of Malmö.
