Österbyskolan is a grades F–9 school with approximately 420 students and is centrally located in Österbybruk. We are now seeking an elementary school teacher for a parental leave position in grade 2.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be a mentor and teaching teacher in grade 2. Together with your colleagues, you plan, carry out and follow up on the teaching and develop the operations based on the students' needs. Your assignment includes creating a safe and clear learning environment where students have the opportunity to develop as far as possible. You actively work to challenge students who need greater challenges and provide support and adaptations to students who need it. As a mentor, you have an important role in creating good relationships with students and guardians and in following students' academic and social development. You become part of a team where you plan and develop the operations together. We believe that good results are created through collaboration, where different competencies and experiences are utilized.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the authority to teach in grades 1–3. If you also have a pedagogical background and a strong commitment to teaching, you are welcome to apply. You have good IT skills and if you have experience working in Unikum and Teams, that is a merit.
