Our school needs to recruit a new team member who can teach in recreational settings and collaborate with classroom teachers. We would prefer that you also have another subject in your education, such as music, art, or another subject.
We want you to work with us, not just for us. We are looking for someone with good knowledge of work in primary school and a thorough understanding of what characterizes successful work in recreational settings.
The school you are applying to is in constant development. Teachers at our school must be passionate about sharing their knowledge. You are equally interested in education as in general learning. You are a role model both as a knowledge provider in your subjects and can motivate our students through strong general education and development.
About the Workplace
Vasalundsskolan is a K-6 independent primary school with approximately 330 students. The school is located next to Lundsbäcks koloniområde in the beautiful and green Vasatorp in Helsingborg, easily accessible by car or public transportation. Collaborative learning is something we hold dear and work with continuously. We enjoy working together and collaborate closely in work teams, which means you are never alone.

Qualifications
We are looking for you as a licensed recreational instructor who can teach another subject. You will join an established work team and will be assigned a mentor to quickly integrate into the work.
We would like you to contribute with commitment, creativity, and drive to develop our school. You meet each student with respect and attentiveness. In addition to having excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, you need good computer skills.
As a teacher at our school, you work to create a safe, enjoyable, and educational learning environment. You possess good leadership qualities to create favorable conditions for a good learning environment together with your students. You must be able to handle being challenged by students but also be able to rejoice in their achievements.
As a person, you are solution-focused, unpretentious, and flexible. In your work approach, you are results- and development-oriented. Furthermore, you build sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues thanks to good collaborative skills.
