Baronen is located adjacent to Grevhagsskolan F-6 and adapted primary school. Baronen is a special education group that serves all of the municipality's primary schools, grades 1-6. Teaching at Baronen takes place in small groups or individually. Teachers, social pedagogues, and special educators at Baronen work together to design instruction for each student. Baronen currently consists of twelve staff members, and the number of students depends on needs and the capacity of the special education group.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference for students in the Department of Child and Education's special education group for grades 1-6, Baronen. You'll become part of an engaged and competent team of twelve professionals from various backgrounds, where teachers, social pedagogues, and special educators work together to create the best possible conditions for each student.
Baronen serves the entire primary school catchment area, meaning you'll meet students with varying needs and have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in work that makes a significant difference for many students. Teaching occurs both individually and in small groups, and you'll plan and adapt instruction based on students' individual needs, strengths, and development opportunities.
Working together with colleagues, you'll operate preventively and promotively to create a safe, inclusive, and developing school environment where each student has the opportunity to succeed. You're also an important part of students' entire school day, building relationships by being present in everything from instruction to breaks and lunches. Through close teamwork and shared commitment to students, you'll contribute to a meaningful school day where each student has the opportunity to grow and develop.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires teacher certification with qualifications for F-3 or grades 1-7. You have strong knowledge of foundational reading, writing, and mathematics instruction and can adapt teaching to meet students' diverse needs. Experience with special education approaches and teaching students requiring additional support is a merit.
