Group Financial Controller

About the Role of Group Financial Controller
As Group Financial Controller at Awardit Group, you will be a central part of the Group's finance function and report to the Group CFO. The role has a clear focus on and responsibility for Group accounting, financial reporting, and process development within Group Finance.
You will work closely with both Group management and local finance functions, and serve as a key person in ensuring quality, transparency, and compliance in financial reporting. The role also involves strengthening financial compliance within the Group and contributing to the development of local finance organizations. Awardit is looking for a curious and driven person with the right mindset who can contribute to the company's continued development. The right person is not only technically skilled but also motivated to continuously improve and optimize financial processes to support Awardit's long-term goals and growth.
Group Finance is responsible for, among other things, Group reporting, internal control, risk management, budget and forecast processes, transfer pricing, financing, and development of the finance organization and system support.
Your Main Responsibilities
Responsible for the Group's consolidation and reporting according to IFRS, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as prepare legal Group accounting
Drive improvements regarding the Group's reporting and consolidation processes
Further develop accounting principles and guidelines within the Group
System ownership for the Group consolidation system Aaro
Project lead and drive the external audit process for the Group
Establish and further develop a framework for Financial Compliance – Financial Handbook
Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
Provide advisory support on accounting and tax matters to subsidiaries
Drive projects within Group Finance with a focus on change, efficiency, and quality
Your Profile
You have relevant higher education in economics and finance, and you have several years of experience in Group accounting and financial reporting, preferably according to IFRS. Experience from an international Group structure and the Group consolidation system Aaro is a merit. Experience in and ability to analyze income statements and balance sheets as well as cash flow reporting and building cash flow analysis are important.
As a person, you are independent and driven, taking ownership from idea to implementation. You are structured with high quality in deliverables, and you have a pedagogical and communicative ability to educate others. In this role, it is important that you are curious, analytical, and see solutions. You are relationship-building and strong in networking.
