About the Role The organization is in a development phase with a focus on professionalizing and streamlining financial reporting and business management. You are a key player in the finance function and work closely with management and finance functions across different parts of the business. Initially, the focus is on Financial Controlling, group reporting, and consolidation, where you will participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. As you build your understanding of the business, the focus will gradually shift toward Business Control, with greater responsibility for analysis, business monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The role thus combines a solid foundation in financial reporting with an increasingly forward-looking and business-focused responsibility. The company currently works in Tiego Group Accounting (TGA). Key Areas of Responsibility: Financial Control and Group Reporting Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and consolidation. Analyze and quality-assure financial reporting. Contribute to the development and streamlining of financial reporting processes. Support the business finance functions in reporting and Financial Control. Build expertise in group accounting and consolidation to serve as backup when needed. Participate in qualified financial matters and development projects. Business Control and Analysis Gradually assume greater responsibility for financial analysis and business monitoring. Analyze financial performance and relevant operational drivers. Monitor actual results against budget and forecast, and analyze variances and underlying drivers. Develop relevant KPIs, analytical models, and reports. Prepare analyses, presentations, and decision support materials for management. Act as a financial sparring partner to the business. Identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement related to growth, profitability, costs, and cash flow. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning Drive and coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes. Further develop models and approaches for financial planning. Quality-assure and challenge financial assumptions together with the business. Contribute to long-term financial planning and scenario analyses. Background and Experience: Several years of experience in Financial Control, group accounting, audit, or other qualified finance work. Experience with group accounting, preferably under IFRS, consolidation, and financial reporting. Solid understanding of accounting and income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis. Interest in business monitoring, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Interest in automation, AI, and development of efficient and scalable financial processes. Ability to translate complex financial information into clear analyses and decision support materials. Very strong Excel skills and good system proficiency. Meritorious Knowledge and Experience: Experience from a listed, capital market-close, or other large and complex organization is an advantage Experience working in Tiego Group Accounting (TGA) or similar systems is an advantage Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious, and business-oriented with the ability to understand the connection between financial reporting and the underlying business.
