We are looking for excavator operators for our client in Stockholm! We accept applications on an ongoing basis throughout the fall, so don't hesitate to submit your CV.
Job Description:
As an excavator operator, you will work with earthmoving and infrastructure projects within Stockholm and Mälardalen. The work includes excavation, digging for water/sewage, fiber and cable, foundation work, backfilling, fine grading, and loading and handling of excavated material. The work is performed according to drawings, site layout, and supervision with a focus on safety, accuracy, and quality.
The client values that you have good experience operating excavators with required precision, and can read and understand work drawings and instructions. They also expect you to have a basic understanding of excavation, utility installation, and backfilling, and can perform fine grading and excavation with accuracy, as well as understanding of safety and risks when working in and around excavation sites.
Requirements:
Relevant experience as an excavator operator in earthmoving and infrastructure.
Good machine operation skills and ability to work accurately and independently.
Ability to follow site supervision, drawings, and instructions.
Good work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
Ability to comply with workplace health, safety, and quality requirements.
Own basic work clothing.
Class B driver's license
Fluency in Swedish or English.
Merits:
Experience with water/sewage, fiber, cable, excavation, and foundation work.
Experience with fine grading and restoration work.
Experience with different types and sizes of excavators.
Experience working from drawings and site layout.
Experience from large-scale projects or infrastructure work.
Professional or training certificates for excavator operation are advantageous and may be required depending on the assignment. Any specific requirements for machine certification, training, or other certificates will be specified for each assignment.
The assignment is expected to start immediately and is an ongoing position.
