About the Role
We are now offering an exciting position as Department Manager where you will be responsible for our Jönköping office. The department is part of Region Southeast, which includes our offices in Småland and the surrounding areas. You will work closely and regularly with other department managers in the region as well as with the Regional Manager. You have personnel responsibility and are responsible for the department's financial operations, including business and sales responsibility. You will further develop strategies for the growth journey we are currently on in the region and continue working on culture and team development matters. To thrive with us, you need to appreciate an organization with an open corporate culture and short decision-making processes, and be motivated by seeing colleagues grow. Currently, approximately 50 employees work at the department, including electricians and project managers.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong leadership experience as well as experience and knowledge in electrical and technical fields.
We believe you have extensive experience and understanding of working with service and contracting projects. You feel confident in your leadership and have strong ability to manage relationships, understanding the importance and advantage of being responsive, being a good communicator, and solving challenges in a constructive and straightforward manner together with employees and customers.
We would also like to see that you have a development-oriented approach and are someone with good initiative, strong drive and forward-thinking mindset, and are genuinely interested in technology and conducting sustainable business. You should have the ability to plan and organize your work in a structured and efficient manner, as well as have a personal drive for continuous improvement in your area and a willingness to sell, deliver the product, and provide expertise. It would be beneficial if you have local ties to the Jönköping area.
To succeed in this role, you need to have:
Relevant education and strong leadership experience
Experience from the industry, such as work supervisor or operations/department manager
Industry knowledge and understanding of contract interpretation
Fluent Swedish language skills, both oral and written, and good English language skills
Business and commercial understanding, ability to see the bigger picture and customer needs
Previous experience developing effective teams
Driver's license category B
