. Gordons Direkt Butiksinredningar AB is an well-established player in the retail industry. From our office, warehouse and showroom in Farsta, we sell everything from shelving systems and lighting to mannequins and clothing racks directly to stores throughout Sweden and some to our Nordic neighboring countries. The company's roots stretch back to the 1950s when the original company was founded to develop display and decoration materials. In 1993, the business was divided, and the current company has been active in its current form since 1995. We are located in Farsta, approximately 15 minutes south of Stockholm City, and currently have 4 employees with offices, warehouse, showroom and store in bright, fresh premises. We are part of the Packoplock Group, which operates in all Nordic countries, has 150 employees and generates over 650 MSEK in revenue.
Would you like to combine purchasing and order handling with retail work in a small company where everyone makes a difference? Do you enjoy keeping track of inventory, prices and deliveries – but also meeting customers and finding the right solution for their store? Then you might be the person we're looking for at Gordons Direkt Butiksinredningar.
For 30 years, Gordons Direkt has helped retail companies create well-functioning store environments where they can offer their customers everything from racks, mannequins, price tags, all types of clothes hangers etc. to complete wall systems, both standard and customized solutions. Our customers are both large chains and smaller individual store owners. The position is based in our premises in Farsta where the store, office, warehouse and workshop are all under one roof.
Now Gordons Direkt is becoming part of Nordahl, which means a new phase with the opportunity to develop the company further.
About the role
This is a broad and varied position where purchasing and administration are at the center, while you also play an important role in customer meetings. Most of the time you work with purchasing, order handling, delivery monitoring and pricing. You have contact with suppliers, primarily in Italy, Germany and Denmark, and handle around 600 purchases per year. The role also includes handling special orders, updating items and prices as well as working with the web shop. The remaining time you meet customers in the store. You help them find the right products and can, for example, put together a complete kit based on what their store looks like and what they need.
Who are you?
We believe you have experience in purchasing and/or order handling, preferably combined with experience from retail work. Perhaps you work as a buyer, inside sales representative or merchandiser – or have previously run your own store where you have been responsible for purchasing, inventory and store design.
Most importantly, you have a genuine interest in retail, products and store design and enjoy understanding customer needs and finding the right solution.
You are organized and thorough, like order and structure and have an easy time keeping track of details. As a person, you are confident and unpretentious. You thrive in a small operation where you work closely together, take personal responsibility and help each other when needed.
About us
At Gordons Direkt you will become an important part of a small and family-like team. Here people work closely together and everyone helps out to make the day-to-day operations function – from purchasing and orders to customer meetings and store operations. Gordons Direkt currently consists of four employees and is now entering a new phase as part of Nordahl (www.nordahl.se). This gives you the opportunity to join an established company with 30 years of experience while also being part of developing the business forward.
