What We Offer

To ensure you feel secure, each shift will be staffed with an experienced nurse for your first 6 months. We also have a structured onboarding program where you will receive planned training each month with pediatric-specific knowledge you need for your work. Since our pediatric clinic works closely together, there are excellent opportunities for you to explore what it is like to work as a nurse in, for example, pediatric emergency care or the neonatal unit while working with us. Several of our staff members rotate between units.

Job Description
We are investing in the future and are looking for nurses who want to provide our children and families with safe, secure care and the best treatment. As a nurse in the pediatric and youth unit, you work in a team with, among others, child care assistants and physicians. You also work closely with other professionals within the clinic, from social workers to hospital clowns. The pediatric and youth unit is an exciting workplace where you will meet children and young people aged 0-18 years with medical, surgical, and orthopedic conditions. We practice child-adapted care and have a strong focus on quality and improvement work. There is also opportunity for rotation in pediatric emergency care.
About You
We are looking for a licensed nurse. If you have specialist training as a pediatric nurse, this is an asset, as is experience working with children and young people. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are required.
You have a strong interest in working with children, young people, and their families. As a person, you are confident, stable, and have self-awareness. You adapt easily to different situations and have the courage to act according to your own convictions. You are skilled at communication, empathetic, and attentive. The work requires that you have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently. It goes without saying that you have strong collaboration skills and contribute with a positive and professional approach to your work. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
