Responsibilities Responsible for work in the electric arc furnace process and operator maintenance. Actively working to minimize risks and increase safety and quality. Monitors and ensures operations by staying updated and being an expert in the field with knowledge of other parts of the process. Handling of heat, vehicles, and chemicals. Understand your own area of responsibility but consider the best interests of the entire operation in actions and decisions. Works together with the team. Safety, quality, and plant availability in focus. Main Tasks · Responsible for tapping liquid steel from the electric arc furnace and cleaning after tapping. · Troubleshooting operational disruptions and maintenance work in the plant. · Forklift operation · Sampling · Reporting and documentation · Practical and long-term work to achieve a stable and safe process. · Participate in and drive development and improvement initiatives. · Reporting and documentation. · Regular communication with other colleagues in the production organization to ensure our final product meets quality requirements. · Works to achieve optimal operating conditions and minimize downtime and interruptions. · Develops, documents, implements, and follows up on continuous improvements in our shared work methods and processes. The position involves shift work.
