Casting Operator
On behalf of our client, we are now seeking a casting operator. Do you have experience with casting or are you practically minded and want to learn a new trade within the industrial field? Then this could be the job for you.
Key aspects of your role
Our client is experiencing positive growth and now needs to strengthen production with an additional team member. As a casting operator, you will be an important part of the manufacturing process and work practically with various tasks related to casting and production.
The work requires attention to detail and quality, while you need to be comfortable with physical and practical work in an industrial environment. You will work alongside experienced colleagues and become part of a team where everyone contributes to keeping production running smoothly.
Your tasks may include:
Work with casting and related production steps
Preparation of materials and equipment for casting
Inspection of finished products and quality control
Handling and post-processing of cast components
Following work instructions and safety procedures
Collaborating with colleagues to maintain good production flow
What we're looking for
If you have previously worked as a casting operator or have experience from foundries or similar industrial production, that is a merit. At the same time, we know that the right person doesn't always have all the experience from the start. For those who are practically minded, curious, and have the desire to learn, there is an opportunity to enter the trade and receive on-the-job training.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a category B driver's license and access to a car, as the workplace cannot be reached by public transportation
Has experience in casting, industry, or production – or a strong interest in learning
Enjoys practical and physical work
Understands the importance of quality and safety in a production environment
Is this you?
You like working practically and aren't afraid to put in effort when needed. As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and have the patience to do the job properly – quality cannot be left to chance. You find it easy to follow instructions and procedures, while staying alert to what's happening around you.
You enjoy collaborating and understand that smooth production depends on everyone helping out and taking responsibility for their part. If you haven't worked with casting before, your attitude is especially important. You are curious, attentive, and willing to learn from more experienced colleagues.
Does our description fit you? We warmly welcome your application!
