JOB DUTIES
As a guitar teacher, you will primarily teach acoustic guitar. The position also includes some instruction in electric guitar and electric bass. You will work both individually and in groups, collaborating closely with colleagues in music and other subject areas within the organization.
Concerts, performances, and other public events are a natural part of the role. You are expected to contribute to students' musical development and create inspiring learning environments where creativity, participation, and musical joy are in focus.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with higher education in a relevant field, or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent.
You have previous experience working with children and young people, which is a requirement for the position. To succeed in this role, you are social, communicative, and have strong collaboration skills. You are flexible and creative in your work approach and have the ability to adapt instruction based on students' individual needs and circumstances.
It is meritorious if you have:
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Office 365)
Experience with music programs and music production on computer
Knowledge of sound technology
