Family Medicine Advisory Telephone Consultant – Physician

We invite you to join our Family Medicine Advisory Telephone Consultant team, who will help residents assess their health status and provide medical advice over the phone!
Working hours: Permanent position, full-time 40 hours per week according to an accumulated working time schedule
Work location: Riga
We will entrust you with:
receiving incoming calls, clarifying the caller's situation and providing medical consultation in accordance with established algorithms;
in cases where emergency medical care is not needed, providing recommendations within your professional competence;
informing callers of opportunities to contact relevant healthcare or other responsible institutions if the matter relates to healthcare organization, service quality, work incapacity, disability, etc.;
ensuring quality processing of the consultation process and recording necessary information;
providing patients' contact persons with certificates about services provided by the Service using information available in the E-health system;
accepting and registering resident complaints and commendations about services provided by the Service on business days.

You are perfect for NMPD work if you have:
second-level higher professional medical education (medical degree) or a certificate in one of the specialties – family medicine, cardiology, or internal medicine, and you are registered in the Medical Practitioners and Medical Support Practitioners Register;
at least 3 years of practical work experience in the healthcare system, preferably in outpatient care;
understanding of regulatory acts related to the healthcare sector;
good computer skills and excellent knowledge of the state language (C2 level);
good communication skills, analytical thinking, independence in decision-making, and emotional resilience in stressful situations.
