Rehabilitation Center Karlskoga is seeking a physical therapist for work in both inpatient and outpatient care, with the goal of providing the best possible care and rehabilitation. At the Rehabilitation Center, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and assistant nurses work together. Our outpatient services include, for example: cardiac rehabilitation, mobile stroke team, team rehabilitation, individual clinic visits, etc. Speech pathologists and medical administrative staff also work in our facilities, with whom we have close collaboration. Job Responsibilities Job responsibilities include, among other things, independently conducting functional assessments, performing treatments, planning and coordinating physical therapy interventions, providing consultation and working in teams, as well as leading certain adapted group activities. There will be opportunities to work with rehabilitation within medicine-neuro operations as well as within operating room services. Information, provision, and prescription of aids/assistive devices are part of the job responsibilities. Together with other healthcare personnel, you will participate in discharge planning. Student supervision is an important and frequently occurring job responsibility. Qualifications We are seeking someone with an interest in and preferably experience working as a licensed physical therapist at a hospital. A physical therapy degree is formally required, and we view further education as a merit. We value a positive demeanor, sense of responsibility, flexibility, and your ability to work both independently and in a team. Important for us is that you have an aptitude for creating good interactions with patients, relatives, colleagues, and students. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Since this area of operations is new, routines and collaboration forms are undergoing continued change, and you should be comfortable being part of development and change work.
