We are seeking a physiotherapist for VO Health Professionals - the unit for physiotherapists and occupational therapists in Operating and Cardiothoracic services, with placement within surgical operations. Within the surgical unit, we meet patients undergoing various forms of surgery and work together to provide the best possible care and rehabilitation. We are now looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and confident in your professional role as a physiotherapist. Work Duties
As a physiotherapist with us, your work duties will mainly consist of work on the care ward, but also outpatient work and training groups may be included. Ward work includes functional assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, primarily for patients who have undergone some form of surgery. The position also includes supervising students, which means you contribute to development and learning within the unit.
Qualifications
You are a licensed physiotherapist and are interested in working within hospital care. We place great emphasis on personality and qualities such as collaboration skills, teamwork, initiative and sense of responsibility, as well as flexibility. It is important to us that you are good at creating positive interactions with both patients and colleagues on the team. Since this is a new operational area, routines and forms of collaboration are open to change, and you should be comfortable being part of development and change work.
