Job Description
We are looking for a licensed physical therapist for the adult team in Linköping, focusing on adolescents and adults with various disabilities. We offer you a fun, stimulating and varied job in a multiprofessional adult team. Your work tasks will consist of assessment and treatment of patients with mobility limitations and/or intellectual disabilities. The services include, for example, adapted physical activity and exercise, pain management and various types of positioning. We meet patients in different environments, that is, here at our clinic, in their homes or at their workplaces. Your work tasks also include fitting, prescribing and follow-up of assistive devices.
You will perform both individual assessments and visits together with other professional disciplines. In your work you will collaborate with various professions, provide information, guidance and training to people in the patient's immediate environment. As an employee at Habiliteringen, you are expected to participate in team work, activity development, network work and habilitation planning. Cooperation with other activities is common.
Work Group
We are a specialized service that offers habilitation services to children, adolescents and adults as well as their relatives and networks. Within habilitation, we work in teams based on age and type of disability. Our target groups are primarily individuals with intellectual disabilities, mobility limitations and autism. The habilitation services constitute a qualitative complement to the rest of health and medical care services and society's general support. The services consist of investigation, assessment, advice and treatment.
Habiliteringen offers mentorship during the introductory year and close cooperation with your professional colleagues. As an employee with us, there are opportunities for internal training to develop your knowledge in habilitation, disabilities and approaches. Research and development work is also conducted at Habiliteringen, and you are offered the opportunity to be part of this.
About You
We are looking for someone who is a licensed physical therapist.
We would like you to have worked as a physical therapist for some time, and it is a merit if you have experience with our target group. You have a good ability to collaborate with other professionals and care partners. You enjoy working in a team while also being able to work independently, take your own initiative and work in a structured manner. In your professional role, you are able to adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in change. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and maturity.
The position involves travel and requires that you have a driver's license (Category B). Experience and knowledge of medical record management in Cosmic is preferred.
