Stora Sköndals Neurological Rehabilitation Clinic offers active and intensive rehabilitation for patients with stroke, Parkinson's, MS, and other neurological diseases and injuries. Rehabilitation is a team effort where speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, physicians, nurses, and nursing assistants work together with patients and their families. In addition to inpatient rehabilitation, we treat patients in outpatient neurological day rehabilitation and at our speech-language pathology and physiotherapy clinic.
We are now seeking a temporary physiotherapist at 75% for our physiotherapy team. You will primarily work with adult patients in full-time rehabilitation for assessment and treatment. Together with the occupational therapist and the rest of the team, you are responsible for ensuring that your patients have a well-balanced training volume with the patient's rehabilitation goals in mind as outlined in the rehabilitation plan. Training is conducted both individually and in groups with a large and varied range of exercise methods. The training facilities are equipped with a gym and a group training room as well as several smaller treatment rooms. We also use the natural setting for outdoor training when appropriate.
Start as soon as possible; initially, the temporary position extends until mid-January 2027, and an extension may be possible. Applications and interviews will be handled on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
You are a physiotherapist or physical therapist, preferably with experience in neurology. Good knowledge of the Swedish language and experience with documentation are requirements. The position requires high standards of organizational and collaborative skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
