About the operation Öppenrehab Borlänge is a service at Borlänge Hospital that provides specialized rehabilitation at home or at an outpatient clinic. We are a multiprofessional team that uses a person-centered approach to provide neurorehabilitation, stroke follow-ups/rehabilitation, and specialized home rehabilitation to enable early discharge from inpatient care. The teams work closely together, creating a cohesive group that supports each other and fosters good will to do our best for patients and colleagues. The tasks consist of providing physiotherapy expertise in assessment/treatment of patients with stroke, other neurological diseases, or orthopedic conditions. The team has 6 physiotherapist positions, so if you are newly qualified, you will receive good supervision and support. Work tasks The tasks consist of providing physiotherapy expertise in assessment/treatment of patients with stroke, other neurological diseases, or orthopedic conditions. Patients are treated at home or at an outpatient clinic. Within specialized home rehabilitation, several different somatic diagnoses are treated to shorten the time in inpatient care. Within day rehabilitation/outpatient services, stroke and other neurological diagnoses are mainly treated. Work within the specialized palliative team may also occur. Work is conducted in close collaboration with occupational therapists and the rest of the team.
