Right now we are looking for a temporary position as an investigator of incorrect payments (FUT investigator) at the Unit for Self-Sufficiency Team 1. Together with your investigator colleagues, you will constitute specialized expertise in legally sound authority practice and preventing incorrect payments. Your Responsibilities Your responsibilities include investigating suspicions of incorrectly disbursed assistance and filing police reports for suspected benefit fraud, educating and supporting social workers who handle financial assistance, and further developing working methods related to legally sound authority practice. Cooperation with other authorities and stakeholders is part of the job. You are expected to stay informed about what happens at other authorities and in society at large on this matter and to share that knowledge with others. Organizationally, you belong to one of our three units working with financial assistance. Together with the results unit manager and team leader at the Unit for Self-Sufficiency Team 1, you drive issues concerning legally sound authority practice in the unit. At the other units you have two colleagues, and together with them you participate in operational development and cooperation. Who Are You? You need to be accustomed to writing and investigating as you will write investigations and police reports. You need to be well versed in the various statutes governing work with financial assistance such as the Social Services Act, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, and the Benefit Fraud Act. As you conduct training sessions, it is important that you are comfortable and experienced speaking in front of groups and that you can do so in a pedagogical and engaging manner. You also need to be able to compile information adapted to who the recipient is; for example social workers, politicians, or cooperation partners. To be able to present statistics and work with operational development, it is important that you can compile and analyze data. You need to be able to handle Excel and Power Point. You are accustomed to quality assuring materials and establishing procedures, working structurally toward set goals. We would like you to have experience working in the public sector in some capacity, preferably municipal. Requirements: Social Work degree or equivalent education. Meritorious: It is meritorious if you have previously worked with fraud investigations It is meritorious if you have specific knowledge regarding financial assistance. Ability to speak to larger groups Personal Qualities: As a person, you are supportive and coaching. You work easily both independently and in teams. You are driven and engaged. You enjoy driving work forward and you are curious and want to improve, so you are also innovative regarding working methods.
