The Digitalization Department leads, coordinates and further develops the agency's digitalization and joint security efforts. The department designs, develops and manages digital solutions and IT services for the entire organization. The work is based on operational needs and encompasses both internal processes and services directed at external stakeholders.
In the Systems Development unit, about 20 people work with management, new development and further development of the agency's information systems.

Work Tasks
In the role of full stack developer, you will work with further development, management and lifecycle management of our IT components. Your key work tasks consist of:
joining a team with a DevOps mindset, where we collectively take responsibility for what we build, help each other and share knowledge.
plan and be responsible for systems development activities in projects and operations, in both backend and frontend.
ensure efficient lifecycle management of our IT components.
participate in contact with operations, contribute to the development of requirements specifications and ensure that necessary documentation is prepared and updated.
participate in system support deliveries and perform testing.
collaborate with operations and support organizations and be responsible for deploying applications to production.
Qualifications
You who apply for this position have higher education in IT (for example, systems scientist or computer engineer) or several years of professional experience as a full stack developer. We require that you have at least 5 years of experience in systems development in Java or work that we deem relevant for the position. The role also requires very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English. Experience from work in public administration is a merit.
It is particularly meritorious if you have completed relevant training and certifications in the field. We would like to see that you have experience with several of the following technologies, components or methods:
Backend: Java, Jakarta
Frontend: Angular
Test Framework: JUnit
Database: PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL
Application Server: Wildfly, Apache HTTP Server, Quarkus
API Framework: REST APIs, Swagger, SoapUI
Methodology: Scrum/Kanban, TDD
Server/Infrastructure: Linux
We also see added value if you have knowledge in:
SCM and tools: Maven, Liquibase, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Git and Docker.
As a person, you are self-driven, proactive and well-organized with very good collaboration skills. You have an analytical approach to problem-solving and enjoy finding efficient solutions in a complex environment.
Terms
The salary range for the position is between 53,000-60,000 SEK/month and is based on competence in relation to skills relevant for the position. The position is a permanent employment, with placement in Gothenburg. Trial employment may be applied. Start as soon as possible after agreement.
The starting point is that the work is normally performed in the agency's premises, however, after agreement with the unit manager, employees may work remotely up to two days of a full-time position, or working hours corresponding to two days per week remotely.
