In Skärholmen District, we prioritize children and youth. Our task is to support young people in the district so they see and take advantage of their opportunities for development and influence over their lives. We do this, among other things, by running leisure activities in various forms.

Your Role
We really have fun here. There's a wide range of tasks, and we work hard to offer a variety of activities, events, and occupations. All to be able to meet young people's interests and wishes.
We live in a changing world – what's trendy today is outdated tomorrow. What new ideas do you have? What do you think we should focus on next? As a recreation leader, you play an important role in ensuring that activities are constantly developed and improved.
You will be a leader in our open activities at the youth center and park play area, lead group activities, and help organize various events. This includes, among other things, different cultural and movement-based activities and, for example, homework help. The role includes maintaining and practicing the routines necessary for leisure to function as a protective factor for our visitors. This can include contact with guardians as well as close contact with schools, social services, police, and other external partners working for children and young people's safety and well-being.
We have varying working hours, which means evening and weekend shifts.
Your Competence and Experience
We see that you have previous experience working at a youth center or other work with young people in an association or similar.
We're looking for someone who wants to be a role model for our young people. This requires you to act based on a professional approach and demeanor. Collaborating and building trusting relationships are no problem for you. As a person, you're secure and stable with self-awareness.
You should have competence in leading groups, conflict management, and activity planning.
