Job Responsibilities Your work includes leading students in the after-school program during afternoons. During the school day, you are a trusted and important adult for our students. You will become part of our recreation team that works together on student development and learning. As a recreation leader, you will be active both in the after-school program and support in the classroom. In the after-school program, you and the other educators develop pedagogical activities with different student groups. You promote participation and influence and offer a meaningful school day for our students. You collaborate with educators, guardians, student support services, and school leadership to create an environment that supports student development and well-being. Based on operational needs and your competencies, other tasks may also occur, such as supervising breaks, supporting students and/or teachers in class, and substitute teaching. As an employee, you receive a wellness allowance of 3000 kronor per year. Qualifications You are trained as a recreation leader or have other education deemed equivalent. It is meritorious if you have previous experience working in after-school programs/at school. You should have a genuine commitment to student learning, development, and well-being. You should have strong leadership skills and be skilled at building relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You should be able to create a sense of security and be an adult that others can confide in and trust. You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You are confident using digital tools. You are experienced working with both individual children/teenagers and groups. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
