About IES Österåker
Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) Österåker is a modern, bilingual F-9 school in Åkersberga that opened its doors in 2024. Our after-school program is a central part of the school day where we offer structured and fun activities that promote students' personal development and sense of community.
About the Positions
1. Recreation Leader (Part-time)
As a recreation leader, you work in the afternoons after classes and during school breaks. Your tasks involve planning, leading, and participating in educational activities, games, and outdoor time with our younger students. The position is perfect to combine with high school, college, or university studies.
2. Substitutes (As Needed)
We are also looking for flexible substitute teachers who can step in on short notice when regular staff are absent. As a substitute, you have the opportunity to work in our after-school program as needed.
Who Are You?
You are currently studying (ideally interested in studying to become a teacher, educator, behavioral scientist, or similar in the future, but this is not required).
You have a genuine interest in working with children and young people. You are a trustworthy and responsible role model.
Since we are a bilingual school, you must be completely confident in Swedish, both spoken and written, while strong English skills are a major advantage.
