Do you have a passion for building secure relationships, creating meaningful experiences for children and young people throughout Töreboda municipality, and working long-term with others? Then you might be the person we're looking for! As a leisure activity leader with us, you will play an important role in developing an inclusive, safe, and inspiring leisure program with strong local anchoring and a wide variety of activities. About the Role As a leisure activity leader, you will work in close relationships with children and young people and be an important adult in their daily lives. You will plan, implement, and follow up on activities that strengthen participation, community, and hope for the future, always with young people's needs at the center. The work takes place in broad collaboration with children and young people, civil society, associations, cultural activities, and other important actors such as schools and social services. Your Main Responsibilities Relationship Building and Support Work You build trusting relationships with children and young people and serve as social and educational support. At the same time, you listen to children and young people's needs and wishes about what activities should be offered. Planning and Implementation of Activities You develop activities with long-term vision, quality, and variety in close cooperation with the culture and leisure department; the municipal library, cultural school, and swimming facility. Together you also work with local associations and non-profit organizations. Pedagogical and Social Collaboration You collaborate with schools, guardians, and participate in structures to strengthen preventive efforts to reduce poor health and exclusion. Practical and Administrative Tasks You document activities, follow up on goals and results, and are responsible for facilities, materials, and safety. Collaboration and Development Work You are an active participant in developing the program, with special focus on culture and association life, and in close collaboration with schools and social services. Local needs and the voices of children and young people guide your work. We are Looking for Someone Who Has education as a leisure activity leader or other relevant education/experience that the employer deems relevant for the position. Is confident, driven, relationship-focused, and has strong collaboration skills Has an interest in culture, association, and youth matters Enjoyed both practical work and documentation/follow-up Understand collaboration between municipality, civil society, and other actors and has a talent for creating dialogue and experience exchange. Is proactive and wants to help develop the program over time to meet children and young people's needs for meaningful leisure in Töreboda municipality. As a Leisure Activity Leader in Culture and Leisure, you can expect a salary between 32 000 - 35 000 kr depending on experience and competence; individual salary setting is applied.
