Kramfors kommun is the natural hub of Höga Kusten, shaped over millennia. With us, people, places, and environments can grow according to their own conditions.
Together we create welfare and a functioning society that is equal and fair for everyone who lives and stays in the municipality. We proudly say that we have Sweden's most important jobs! That's a good starting point for making a workday with us feel meaningful.
Skarpåkersskolan has approximately 300 students, distributed between preschool class, grades 1–3, and recreational care. Currently, 228 children are enrolled in after-school care. Teaching takes place in age-divided classes with three to four classes per grade. The school is located 1 km from Kramfors center with proximity to nature. In close proximity to the school are attractions such as playgrounds and forests. The municipality's sports field is nearby and provides opportunities for exciting challenges and is used both during school time and during recreational time.
To create a good learning environment for the students, teachers, preschool teachers, and recreational care staff collaborate between the different activity forms. Staff are organized in work teams that include teachers and recreational care staff for each age group.
Recreational activities work to provide children with meaningful leisure time by supporting their development, practicing creativity, and strengthening their ability to take responsibility for themselves and others. Participation and free play are important parts of recreational activities.
Subject to required decisions being made, we are now seeking a recreational teacher for the activity.
1 position(s).
WORK DUTIES
As a recreational teacher, you work based on the recreational care's mission to stimulate students' development and learning in collaboration with the school's activities. Based on current curricula, you follow the connecting thread between the recreational care's and school's pedagogical planning. Together we want to create an activity that meets our students' and their parents' needs in the best way.
Your work duties include planning and leading teaching at the recreational care together with other staff, and you will be part of a work team. In your role, you also have close collaboration with classroom teachers, with the aim of complementing each other's competencies. You are a key person in seeing the whole picture for students who are both in school and recreational care. Recreational care is often the beginning and end of the student's day.
Opening and closing the recreational care is included in the work duties.
